Burgess Excel Nature's Blend are nuggets for adult rabbits with hedgerow herbs — dandelion, nettle and lemon balm. Recipe formulated with vets and nutritionists to provide the right balance of vitamins and minerals as a complement to a hay-based diet.
Key features
- Skin and coat: formulated for healthy skin and a glossy coat.
- Eye health: lucerne supports eye health.
- Immune system: with antioxidants such as vitamin E.
- Digestive health: prebiotics and beneficial fibre.
- With dandelion, nettle and lemon balm.
- Don't forget the hay: as well as providing essential fibre, hay and fresh grass help wear down the teeth, which grow continuously.
Feeding recommendations
- Good-quality hay and/or fresh grass should make up most of the diet and always be available.
- Complement with a small portion of Excel nuggets, a small amount of leafy greens per day and, occasionally, an Excel treat.
- Fresh, clean water always available.
- If your rabbit still eats a muesli-type mix, make the transition gradually over 14 to 28 days, reducing the mix and increasing the nuggets until they replace it completely.
- Check your rabbit's weight regularly; if in doubt, talk to your vet.
