Oxbow Essentials Young Rabbit Food is a complete, uniform, alfalfa-based food for growing rabbits (up to 1 year) and pregnant or lactating does, stages when nutritional needs are greater.

Feeding recommendations

• Growing (under 1 year): unlimited pellets, plus unlimited grass hay.
• Pregnant/lactating: unlimited pellets, plus unlimited grass hay; alfalfa hay can be given in small amounts.
• These are guidelines: if your rabbit is overweight or underweight, talk to your vet.
• Transition: week 1 — 3 parts current food + 1 part new; week 2 — half and half; week 3 — 1 part current + 3 parts new; week 4 — new food only.
