Burgess Excel Adult Rabbit Nuggets with Oregano are a high-fibre complementary food for adult rabbits (from 4 months to 5 years). As they all have the same composition, they prevent selective feeding. Recipe formulated with vets and nutritionists.

Key features

  • Skin and coat: formulated for healthy skin and a glossy coat.
  • Immune system: with antioxidants such as vitamin E.
  • Digestive health: prebiotics and beneficial fibre help maintain healthy digestion.
  • With oregano, for even tastier nuggets.
  • Don't forget the hay: as well as providing essential fibre, hay and fresh grass help wear down the teeth, which grow continuously.

Composition

Hay, whole wheat, oat bran, soya hulls*, wheat bran, dried peas, dried lucerne, yeast (brewer's and cereal yeast), soya oil*, dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, monocalcium phosphate, salt, short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotic FOS 0.25%), lignocellulose, dried oregano (0.06%). *Produced from genetically modified soya.

Feeding recommendations

  • Good-quality hay and/or fresh grass should make up most of the diet and always be available.
  • Complement with a small portion of Excel nuggets, a small amount of leafy greens per day and, occasionally, an Excel treat.
  • Fresh, clean water always available.
  • If your rabbit still eats a muesli-type mix, make the transition gradually over 14 to 28 days, reducing the mix and increasing the nuggets until they replace it completely.
  • Check your rabbit's weight regularly; if in doubt, talk to your vet.
