Burgess Excel Indoor Rabbit Nuggets with Dandelion and Nettle have been formulated for adult rabbits that live indoors (from 4 months to 5 years). Even without grazing outdoors, they need all the nutrients they would find in nature — which is why this recipe includes vitamin D, dandelion and nettle.

Feeding recommendations

• Good-quality hay and/or fresh grass should make up most of the diet and always be available.
• Complement with a small portion of Excel nuggets, a small amount of leafy greens per day and, occasionally, an Excel treat.
• Fresh, clean water always available.
• If your rabbit still eats a muesli-type mix, make the transition gradually over 14 to 28 days, reducing the mix and increasing the nuggets until they replace it completely.
• Check your rabbit's weight regularly; if in doubt, talk to your vet.
