Oxbow sand for chinchillas POOF! 1.3kgs

Oxbow POOF! is a 100% natural bathing dust for chinchillas. Dust baths are essential for a chinchilla's physical and mental well-being and encourage natural coat-grooming behaviour.

Key features

• 100% natural chinchilla bathing dust ("Blue Beauty Dust").
• Promotes physical and mental well-being.
• Sustainably sourced, with no open-pit mines, explosives or tunnels.
• Once used, it can be recycled as a garden soil additive.

Directions for use

• Bathe your chinchilla 2 to 4 times a week to remove excess oil and dirt and keep the coat soft.
• Use a suitable dust bath house or a stable container that won't tip over, with about 2.5 cm of dust.
• Remove the container from the cage after 3 to 5 minutes to avoid mess and excessive exposure to dust. Replace the dust when it is dirty.
• If your chinchilla is not behaving normally or is ill, consult your vet before use.
