Burgess Excel Chinchilla Nuggets with Mint are a high-fibre complementary food for adult chinchillas. Enriched with vitamins and minerals, they prevent selective feeding because all the nuggets have the same composition.

Whole wheat, dried lucerne, soya hulls*, oat bran, dehulled soya bean meal*, dried peas, wheat bran, yeast (brewer's and cereal yeast), minerals, soya oil*, dried mint (1%), lignocellulose, short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotic FOS 0.2%). *Produced from genetically modified soya.

Feeding recommendations

• Good-quality hay and/or grass should make up most of the diet and always be available.
• Complement with a small portion of Excel nuggets and a small amount of leafy greens per day.
• If your chinchilla eats a muesli-type mix, make the transition gradually over 14 to 28 days.
• Monitor weight and always provide fresh, clean water.
