Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food is a complete, uniform food for adult guinea pigs (over 6 months old), based on high-fibre timothy hay and with stabilised vitamin C.

Composition

Feeding recommendations

• Adult guinea pigs (over 6 months): 1/8 cup of pellets per day, plus unlimited grass hay.
• Not intended for growing, very active, pregnant or lactating guinea pigs — at these stages use Oxbow Essentials Young Guinea Pig.
• These are guidelines: if your pet is overweight or underweight, talk to your vet.
• Transition: week 1 — 3 parts current food + 1 part new; week 2 — half and half; week 3 — 1 part current + 3 parts new; week 4 — new food only.
