Oxbow Critical Care® Herbivorous Intensive Care

Oxbow Critical Care for herbivores (anise flavour) is a recovery food for herbivores that will not or cannot eat their usual diet, for example due to illness or after surgery. It should be used under the guidance of your vet.

Timothy hay, soya hulls, soya bean meal, wheat germ, xanthan gum, potassium chloride, salt, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (vitamin C), soya oil, flaxseed, magnesium sulphate, calcium chloride, papaya, pineapple, cane molasses, natural flavouring, DL-methionine, L-glutamine, oat groats, wheat bran, sodium bentonite, yeast culture (dried), fat product, hydrolysed yeast, inulin, mixed tocopherols (preservative), vitamins and trace elements (full list on the label).

Directions for use

• Shake well before use. Mix 1 part Critical Care with 2 parts warm water to the desired consistency (the amount of water can be adjusted to the feeding method).
• Herbivorous mammals: 3 tablespoons per kg of body weight per day (1 tablespoon ≈ 9 g).
• Herbivorous reptiles: 1 tablespoon per kg of body weight per day.
• Divide into 4 to 6 feeds, unless your vet advises otherwise. Prepare fresh for each feed and discard the mixture after 24 hours.
• Water always available. Store in a cool, dry place.
